The Cabrillo Beach Boosters
The Cabrillo Beach Boosters is a non-profit organization formed in 1993 with the purpose of, implementing the San Pedro Community Plan and the Coastal Plan for Cabrillo Beach and to promote the restoration and preservation of the Bathhouse as a Historical Monument dedicated to the Community for use as an educational, recreational, ocean oriented Cabrillo Marine Center.
The Cabrillo Beach Boosters worked in cooperation with the Los Angeles Harbor Department and the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks to sponsor youth sports days, recreational activities at the beach, and to restore the beach to its former glory.
